Ian Fielding

An experienced videographer, I've worked in the medium of film for many years, during which time I've cultivated a broad skillset across the entire range of production. Passionate about my craft, I've dedicated my career to telling people's stories through the medium of film.

Specialising as a one-man team, I work across the full spectrum of digital film production - from concept, script writing and story boards, to camera work, sound recording and cinematography, all the way through to editing, colour grading, graphics and sound design. I pride myself on bringing a high quality result that succeeds at every level of film craftsmanship.

My clients have included the NHS, Hampshire Wellbeing Services, and Sweet TV amongst others and I have worked on documentaries, corporate commissions, music videos, promotional videos and long-form fiction films.

If you have a project I can help you realise, I'd love to hear from you.

— Gus White, Musician
During our time working together, Ian proved to be a more-than-valuable asset. Not only did he bring a high level of technical efficiency to the project, but also an innate understanding of the entire filmmaking process. He is creatively adventurous and always open to suggestions. Ian not only edited, but he also helped me tell the story in the best possible way. For this, I’ll be eternally grateful.
— David Campion, Film Director
Ian made a short film for me which has been a great hit. He managed to capture the whole experience better than I imagined as well as making me feel at ease and guiding me in the right direction. The film is now front page on my website. I highly recommend working on a film with Ian, the perfect way to show what you do and how.
— Claire Storey, Professional Photographer
Ian’s directing of HWS culture in dementia film was insightful, creative and probing. He has a real skill for putting people at ease, stimulating natural and candid conversations even from those members of the community who are seldom heard and have no experience of speaking in front of a camera.
